WHO AM I?

Hi! I'm DJ. I live with my husband, son, and daughter in the midwest.  I am a "stay at home" mom thanks to a genetic disability called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I spend a lot of days on the couch reading thanks to my health. When I am not stuck at home due to health reasons, I like to take pictures, visit my horse, and travel. I also officiate weddings and work as a bartender.  I am a cat person but my family also has dogs, rats, and horses. We are on the cusp of becoming empty nesters and my husband is just a few semesters away from becoming a high school English teacher. Welcome to my blog!
